A poetry for poetic hearts is composed by Nirmal Kumar Thapa, a debuted book in English language and is published by Maya Publication in 2020. The anthology consists 33 beautifully crafted poems and offers such in depth insights into human’s love, life, relation to nature, his existential and nihilistic approaches to life that it seems to have sprung from the wants and needs that are totally delved in nature. This book really reflects meaning life and its boundaries and perceptions those are beyond of anyone’s thinking motives like he brings lights in forgotten stars and life in abandoned stones which offers consciousness to super- consciousness through the surface level of poetry.
Most of his poems are in free verse and each verse speaks about nature, seasons, art, emotions, and state of truth, philosophy of life, observation, circumstances, human tendency, rituals, places and their values of existence in both spiritual and materialistic world. This book is a complete blend of inner and outer world and peoples actions Vs perceptions. The title of the collection is a reflection of being my world vs. others world how the poet observed and see delicacy of life in vividly that can’t be accepted through others mind and eyes. It’s a contrast between existing world and mundane world that how beauty of nature and life’s forms are formlessness or livings sometimes for someone become meaningful or insignificant.
The poems in this book are deep and offer an opportunity to take short breaths and enter the chamber of poet’s muse and let to differ how worldly eyes beauty can be deceived upon you rather the closed eyes see the flavour of divinity. His poems are simple and mostly plain language in the poems is subtle even when the content is rigidly existential, extremely philosophical emotional to digest at once reading. Though he claims that all the verses are not produced by him….without the presence of divinity and grace of holy power or till not sinking in the depth of something else anybody can rejoice in any form of life so his writing comes from in formlessness that offers healing in life.
Thapa strongly believes living in present is always worthy and challenging that gives thrilling and daring experienced in life. Some of his poems are somehow paradoxical and a kind of enigmatic topics in poetry is fascinating as it permits poems to do several things at time, from inquiring the realm around us to challenging and criticizing it and yet enjoy it the way it is like: ‘Deathless Death’, ‘Madman at the Temple’ ‘A Man Made by Other Men’ which lets the readers interpret the poems the way they would like to and yet not go away from the poet’s interpretation of it. The poet becomes a prayer of nature and its essence for humankind that offers fuels in life.
Every poem astonishingly narrates the path of super- consciousness throughout the book and let to have insightful thoughts upon your destiny like he says;
‘Walk alone Walk alone
This is your reality
I can’t force you to walk
I have no address of your destiny
You have your own destiny
So I have mine
We seem like the same being
But deep down
We are not the same’…….
Most of his poems are very unique and way of presentation is like narrating story that is like river flowing through grudges to meet the depth of ocean and unbelievable images and metaphysical forms definitely strikes the mind of readers to bite this book which itself dealt that no words are produced to make picturesque of extreme circumstances to eternity!
